This October Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein presents 'After Dark – nights to die for’. An intense multi-sensory horror event for those aged 15 and above. Set over five floors in a period town house in the centre of Bath, visitors navigate the house in darkness encountering the horrors of ‘Purgatory’.

Event details:

  • Venture through the house in darkness and face the harbingers of suffering trapped forever in purgatory. Featuring live actors, special effects and disturbing aromascapes.
  • Brave the dank underbelly of the House in the X-treme basement walkthrough experience.
  • Decipher the ramblings of an unhinged mind within Victor’s attic Escape Room and find your way to freedom.
  • Meet the Creature – a world-first 8ft animatronic recreation of Frankenstein’s monster as Mary Shelley imagined.
  • Steady your nerves in the atmospheric Bloody Mary’s Bar serving horrifyingly good cocktails and drinks.

Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein 'After Dark’ will run 6-10pm from 21 - 31 October 2022.

We recommend that After Dark is not suitable for children under the age of 15 years or the faint-hearted.

Throughout October Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein is still offering their classic experience from 11am to 5pm (last entry 4pm). Saturdays 10am – 6pm (last entry 5pm)
