PARTY LIKE IT’S 1999 AT AFFORDABLE ART FAIR’S 20TH BIRTHDAY

  • Affordable Art Fair celebrates its 20th anniversary at the Autumn Fair, 17-20 October in Battersea Park, London
  • Delve into ‘90s nostalgia with a jam-packed anniversary themed programme
  • Discover the joy of art collecting with more than 1,000 contemporary artworks from up-and- coming talent and household names alike, priced from just £50 to £6,000

Alongside 114 galleries and 1,000s of original artworks at affordable prices, the Fair will celebrate 20 years of disrupting the art market through a host of workshops, talks and activities all with a nod to the ‘90s. From creating your very own pop culture and neon artworks, to learning the trick to discovering the next YBA, the Fair will take visitors back to the decade where it all began.

The breakout artists of the past and the future will join forces in a special edition of the Recent Graduates’ exhibition. Since 1999, Founder Will Ramsay has used the Autumn Fair as a launch pad for the hottest new artists. This October artists from the past 20 years of the Fair will exhibit alongside the budding photographers, painters and sculptors of tomorrow.

Other highlights from the Fair include:

Cool Britannia

Recreate a Brit Art classic without breaking the bank with a Central St Martins’ led workshop on neon portraiture in the style of YBA Gary Hume. Affordable Art Fair has you covered with a programme full of opportunities to meet the rising stars of the future, including talks and live art demonstrations from Marcelina Amelia of Liberty Gallery andTim Fowler from Leicester-based StudionAme.
