The new themes are the brainchild of Elizabeth Dellert, Affordable Art Fair’s new UK Fair Director. Her appointment follows 20 years of successful growth for the brand, which has seen Affordable Art Fair expand from its first edition in Battersea Park in 1999 to 10 countries around the world, selling work to almost 200,000 art buyers annually.
Elizabeth Dellert, Affordable Art Fair, UK Fair Director, says: “Affordable Art Fair has helped over 2.5m people discover the joy of collecting art since its start 20 years ago. These new themes – Prints in Battersea and Photography in Hampstead – will help visitors better access these mediums, and provide the opportunity to buy great work from established artists through to rising stars. We hope this will inspire anybody looking to collect their first ever piece of art work or give their home a spring revamp, to visitors who have been collecting with us for years and consider this the highlight of their art buying calendar.”
Further details on the Print and Photography themed sections and participating galleries will be announced in 2020.
