The Isle of Wight Festival 2018 is now well underway, and a whole host of stars took to The Hard Rock Stage on day two of the legendary festival.

Oscar winning actor Colin Firth joined The Hard Rock Stage crowd again for the third year. This time watching with pride his son Marcus as he kept time for his band Strange Child.

Surprise guest KT Tunstall joined headlinerlate 80s maverick singer songwriter Andrew Roachford to deliver a rocking high energy performance. Blowing away festival goers to close the stage at the end of the night with his smash hits “Cuddly Toy” and “Family Man”.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly drew a crowd with his indie ballads and were followed by We Are Onefronted by alternative models Bud and Aidan of recent All Together Now fame who sent the crowd into a punk rock frenzy.

Cruel Heart Club, Cusp, Eddy Smith and the 507s and Georgia & The Vintage Youth were amongst those who kept crowds firmly on their feet throughout the day, ahead of the night’s superstar Main Stage headliners Bastille, George Ezra and Fatboy Slim.

To keep the fun vibe rolling throughout, lucky Hard Rock stage attendees were treated to free Hard Rock T-shirts being shot out via a T-shirt cannon in between artists. Promoting the new Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly Circus opening soon, the classic T-shirts with the city specific logo are not even on sale yet and stage attendees were treated to becoming owners of the not yet released T-shirts. Branded complimentary ponchos and sun glasses ahead of the ever changing weather kept the crowd dry and happy throughout the day.
