TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO HG WELLS’ VICTORIAN ENGLAND AND BE PART OF THE MARTIAN INVASION OF 1898…

  • Featuring immersive Victorian set design, augmented reality and multi-sensory surprises over a 90-minute adventure
  • An ideal destination for groups with multiple food and beverage packages on offers
  • Opening at The Old London Metal Exchange in the heart of the City of London

Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of The Worlds, a franchise that has sold over 15m+ double albums and over 1m tickets to its touring arena show, is coming to London as a pioneering immersive visitor experience.

Set to open on 31 May, the attraction will fuse virtual reality, live action, motion technology and immersive set design to transport visitors to HG Wells’ Victorian England. The 90-minute interactive adventure will see its guests walk, crawl and slide through a 22,000 sq ft space fully immersed within one of the most iconic tales of alien invasion. Inspired by Jeff Wayne’s musical adaptation of The War of the Worlds, the revolutionary experience provides a close encounter of the sounds, smells and chills of the original Victorian-era story. Visitors will discover famous sites and participate in terrifying scenes from the novel from an immersive drink at the ‘Red Weed’ bar, to witnessing first-hand the near demise of the human race at the hands of eerie Martian forces…

Experience and interaction sit at the heart of the attraction, making it an ideal opportunity for groups. With six visitors entering the experience every 10 minutes, and no need for audio-guides due to complete technological immersion, this attraction revolutionises the traditional concept of entertainment. Team-building, communication and learning are all essential in group excursions outside of the work-place, and dotdotdothasincorporated all of the above through this adaption of Wells’ infamous novel.
