Christmas starts with a Christmas tree, and there’s nothing like a real Christmas tree to get you in the mood for the festive season. New for 2017, Capital Christmas Trees pop-ups in The Royal Parks won’t disappoint.

This year Capital Christmas Trees is working with The Royal Parks to bring the highest quality, field fresh British Christmas trees to Londoners. The Richmond Park pop-up opens from 8am to 6pm on 18 November; The Greenwich Park pop-up store opens from 8am - 5.45pm; The Bushy Park pop-up opens from 8am - 6pm. The pop-ups will be open on the last two weekends in November, and then every day up until 20 December.

From Nordman Fir, Fraser Fir to Noble Fir and Serbian Spruce, the huge range of premium trees and knowledgeable staff at hand will help you find the perfect tree for your home. These will be available from 3ft to 12ft, pot-grown or cut-trees; each tree is hand selected to ensure it is of the highest quality, with strong even branches and a tall and sturdy crown.

The Capital Christmas Tree pop-ups will be sure to bring the magic of Christmas to you, old-school style, with every customer personally attended to by a friendly, trained member of staff. We will also gladly help porter the tree to your car and help get it in!

Capital Christmas trees will help take all the hassle out of buying a real tree and make it a fun experience for all the family. There is no better day out than to wrap up warm and visit one of London’s most beautiful parks with your loved ones, and turn the process of buying your Christmas tree into a memorable and magical one!

Capital Christmas Trees puts sustainability at the heart. Once the festive season is over, you can bring your Capital Christmas Tree spruce or fir back to any Capital Gardens Centre by 14 January for chipping. For more information, go to www.capitalgardens.co.uk/Christmas

A spokesperson from Capital Christmas Trees says: We know what a stressful time of year Christmas can be so we’re here to take some of that pressure away, and help conjure up the magic of Christmas. This year we are delighted to be working with The Royal Parks to make that oh so special moment of going out to buy your real Christmas tree even more memorable. The Royal Parks

www.royalparks.org.uk

The Royal Parks is a charity created in March 2017 to manage 5,000 acres of historic Royal parkland across London. Every year there are an estimated 77 million visits to The Royal Parks, providing unparalleled opportunities for enjoyment, exploration and healthy living in the heart of London. We look after eight of London’s largest open spaces: Hyde Park, The Green Park, Richmond Park, Greenwich Park, St James’s Park, Bushy Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, and Kensington Gardens. We also manage other important open spaces in the capital including Grosvenor Square Garden, Brompton Cemetery, Victoria Tower Gardens, Canning Green and Poet’s Corner, and we maintain the gardens of 10, 11 and 12 Downing Street. In 2017, we took over managing the parks from The Royal Parks Agency – a former executive agency of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), as well as fundraising and education from the Royal Parks Foundation. The two organisations joined forces to create our charity and bring together the best of fundraising, education and park management. The parks are owned by the Crown with their responsibility resting with the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. The Royal Parks charity manages the parks on behalf of the government.
